NSF sponsored Green Chemistry in Education workshop
This workshop is sponsored by a CCLI NSF grant obtained by Dr. Andy Knight and Dr. Kurt Birdwhistell.
The workshop will introduce the principles of green chemistry to Louisiana high school and college teachers. The workshop will be held on Loyola's campus from July 31 to Aug. 3, 2008.
The workshop will consist of a series of lectures on green chemistry and several hands on experiments that the participants can take back to their institutions. The workshop will end with a series of green chemistry success stories.
